Stress conditions cause contraction, limiting our energy. By limiting our vital energy circulation, the amount of blood and oxygen reaching the organs decreases. And is known today that at the physiological level it is a lack of oxygen in the body that favors the development of cancer.
By reducing the level of energy circulation in the body reduce the life of someone.
But the exercise has a lot to contribute to improve the negative effects of stress on the body.
Especially exercise that uses movement and breathing consciously aware (to keep our attention on our inner perception of bodily sensations). But, most important, because when performing active exercise, a greater number of breath, so that oxygen, enters the body.
When doing passive exercises such as conscious breathing and relaxation, expansion took place throughout the system that allows vital energy to flow to every part of the body.
active psycho-physical exercises, such as Chi Kung exercises, used in China, to help treat cancer. Part of the action they concentrate on breathing in a special exercise to increase oxygen levels in the body.
As far as the active exercise is concerned, almost all of the good conduct for our purposes, but as mentioned earlier, psycho-physical exercises that work, as the name suggests, the mind, emotions and body, can be directed to not only carry oxygen around the body or even for certain parts, but also, by using visualization or a promise to express our clear intention, can affect positive thoughts. This can happen with Tai Chi, Chi Kung, etc.
Actually, in Tai Chi, for example, every posture affects certain organ systems. So lends itself well to such mental processes.
Both active and passive exercises have their role to play. They work together in harmony to provide solutions to restore our health.
Other short exercises which I found very useful is Self Massage. By pressing very lightly through the body’s energy channels and we can both calm revitalizing our system. I personally practice self massage every morning after some stretching and before Tai Chi.
